I just saw an amazingly well-done scam video pretending to be Mark Carney, our Prime Minister, being interviewed by CTV News about a "new government program." The quality of the video and voice was amazing. If it wasn't for the obvious scam that the video version of Carney was endorsing, and the fact that endorsing something like this is not something I would expect a Prime Minister to do, it would be completely believable.

The lesson: Be very wary of anything you see, hear, or read. Consider the source (in this case, a questionable source, Facebook) and look for corroborating evidence before internalizing, sharing, or taking action on that information.
